Boarding
Along with our medical services, we provide a safe haven for your pets while you are away, as well as professional grooming. While your pet is our guest, we hope that you will feel confident that he/she is safe, well fed and comfortable. Dogs are exercised in our enclosed yard at least twice daily, and all pets are provided with clean runs/compartments daily. Please be assured that your pet is never placed in the same compartment with another pet unless you request that yours be kept together.  Cats will have the opportunity to exercise in our feline "romper room". We also have a special place for our feline guests in our feline hospital where no dogs are allowed.

You are welcome to bring your pet's food if he/she requires a food other than Hill's Science Diet Sensitive Stomach.  We ask that you bring only enough food to last the length of your pet's stay and that you label the food appropriately.  We do carry most Hill's diets;  in the event you are unable or forget to bring your pets food, we will be happy to sell you the Hill's diet needed which can be paid for at time of check out.   If you would like to bring a personal item such as a blanket or stuffed toy, you are more than welcome to do so; however, we cannot be responsible for the loss or damage of any personal items.

Medical Services
An essential part of our kennel is that we offer complete veterinary services that can be performed during your pet's stay. These include: surgery, dentistry, vaccinations, heartworm and fecal parasite tests. Please let us know at the time you make your reservation which service you desire.

Reservations
Reservations should be made in advance for all services. Please call very early for holiday and summer boarding. A 50% deposit is required to hold boarding reservations during holiday seasons.

Check In
Boarders may be checked in at your convenience during kennel hours. Charges begin the evening your pet is admitted. Pets checked in for baths or medical services must be checked in prior to 10:00am.

Check Out
Check out is like a hotel; pets picked up after 2:00pm are charged for an additional night. Pets are only admitted and dismissed during kennel hours.

Vaccinations
If your pet receives vaccinations at a clinic other than Westlake Animal Hospital please bring proof of these vaccinations when you check in. State law requires permission to release medical records.
